PURPOSE:To attain the safety of drive by turning on/off the screen of an on-vehicle television set depending on the drive/stop state and turning off the screen of the television set when the set is not required even during drive or stop. CONSTITUTION:A switch circuit 23 is inserted on the way of a video signal cable 26, the said switch circuit is turned on initially by a power switch 17 of a television system and driven by a drive circuit 24 connected to a car speed sensor 15. When the drive state of a vehicle is detected by the said car speed sensor 15, the drive circuit 24 turns off the switch circuit 23 and when the vehicle is stopped, the circuit is turned on again. Thus, a television video signal is turned off/on attended with the stop/drive of the vehicle, the picture of the television screen is eliminated during drive and displayed again at the stop. On the other hand, the television voice is outputted at all times by the turning on of a power switch of the television system independently of the drive/stop of the vehicle. |
