摘要 PURPOSE:To realize beam luminous flux with a uniform intensity distribution by using a trapezoid prism to transmit the beam luminous flux straight and also refracting the luminous flux in a crossing direction on the axial line. CONSTITUTION:The trapezoid prism 11 is arranged in front of a laser beam 10 and the luminous flux is transmitted coaxially to convert its intensity distribution. In this case, the center part area 13 including the luminous center part travels straight as a straight travelling beam 14. Further, two areas 15a and 15b on both sides of the center part area 13 are refracted toward the straight traveling beam 14 to obtain deflected beams 16a and 16b. The intensity distribution of a superposition beam 17 at distance D where said three beams are superposed together is the sum of intensity of those three beams. Consequently, the difference in intensity between the center part and peripheral parts is reduced and beam luminous flux having a uniform intensity distribution is obtained.
