PURPOSE:To arrange so that the upper and lower concentration of a dot formed by a needle may be uniform by positioning the tip of each needle at an equal distance from the surface of a recording part in a magnetic ink film. CONSTITUTION:The tip of each needle 24 is positioned at an equal distance from the surface of an magnetic ink film 23 with a thickness gradually reducing upward at the recording paper side. That is, the tips of needles 24 are provided out of position backward as they go upward. Under this configuration, if an excitation coil 13 is excited, the surface of the magnetic ink film 23 at the recording paper side is vertical. Then the tip of each needle 11 is positioned at an equal distance from the surface of the recording paper 1 in the magnetic ink film 23. Accordingly, the holding of magnetic ink 19 in each needle 11 during printing is uniformalized and the upper and lower concentration of a dot formed by the needle 11 is even. |
