PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the withstand voltage of a capacitor by making segmentation of a metal evaporation electrode with an insulation slit easy, and improving the reliability of operation of a fuse part provided between segments, in a metallized film capacitor. SOLUTION: A metal evaporation electrode 5 of a film 1, constituting a metallized film capacitor is divided into a large number of hexagonal segments 6 with insulation slits 2, 3 and 4 not in a width direction of the film 1, and a fuse part 9 is formed at the intermediate position of a side of the segment 6 across the insulation slits 2, 3 and 4 forming the side by metal evaporation. Each of insulation slits 2, 3 and 4 is ended at the fuse part 9 rounded, and the area of the segment 6 is made 25-900 mm<2> .
