PURPOSE:To obtain a constant output torque if the controlled amount of an accelerator is maintained constant, by providing such an arrangement that the output torque is subjected to feed-back control with the use of a value which is obtained by converting the controlled amount of the accelerator with a predetermined relation of functions. CONSTITUTION:The controlled amount of an accelerator means 51 such as, for example, an accelerator pedal, a manual lever, etc. is detected by a controlled amount detecting means 52, and is converted through a predetermined function by a function generating means 53. Further, a control means 55 computes a deviation between an actual torque signal delivered from a torque detecting means 54 which is a torque sensor for detecting the torque of an output shaft, and a torque instruction value delivered from a function generating means 53. Further, a throttle drive means 56 controls a throttle valve and a rack in accordance with the above-mentioned deviation. With this arrangement it is possible to obtain a constant output torque if the controlled amount of the accelerator is maintained constant.
