<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the seizure and abrasion in high-speed operation and reduce the dimension of a pump by compulsorily lubricating a cam ring through oil jet only in high-speed revolution. CONSTITUTION:An oil jet passage 29 is formed onto the rear housing 13 for a radial piston pump used for the power steering for a car. One side of said oil jet passage 29 is opened into a pump discharge passage 24, and the outher is opened oppositely to a cam ring 11, and said opening is opened and closed by the outer ring 11b of the cam ring 11. When the number of revolutions of the pump is large, the amount of eccentricity of the cam ring 11 is small, and the outer ring 11b opens an oil jet passage 24 to feed a large amount of lubricating oil. The opening and the closing may be carried-out by a solenoid valve, etc. which is controlled according to the number of revolutions.</p> |
