PURPOSE:To manufacture sealing material for a bearing without flash at low cost by rotating a spindle provided with a reinforcing ring, adhering an unhardened elastic material to the outer peripheral portion of the reinforcing ring, which is subjected to hardening to be elastically hardened. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing ring B mounted on a spindle 1 and the spindle 1 are rotated together, so that a desired amount of an elastic material A1 is adhered to the spindle for a fixed period of time by a roller 2 or an injection device. After that, the roller or the injection device is separated so that the elastic material A1 adhered to the reinforcing ring B is uniformly circulated to the outer periphery of the reinforcing ring B by the rotating centrifugal force and if the elastic material A1 is subjected to heating, cooling or light irradiation for hardening the material A1 to be elastically hardened, a sealing material having a round elastic body A on the outer peripheral portion can be obtained. |
