PURPOSE:To raise the rotating sensitivity of an arm by supporting an arm pipe and an inner ring on a mounting board through pivot bearings. CONSTITUTION:The operation of a normal pickup is the same as conventional one, i.e., the force is applied to a magnet 7 by making current flow into a coil 9 and the arm pile 1 and the inner ring 3 are actuated. If impact is applied to the pickup arm by some reasons, the weight of the magnet 7 is applied to bearing parts 11, 12 thrugh a spring 15, so that the weight of the magnet 7 which is applied to the pivot bearings 11, 12 is absorbed by the spring 15 and the bearing parts are prevented from damages.
