PURPOSE:To limit the target to be searched in mineral deposits by sampling widely the acidic lava occupying the lower position at the level of the embryo layer in the mineral deposits, measuring the sulfur content in each of the sampled acidic lava and knowing the difference in the sulfur contents thereof (high sulfur halo). CONSTITUTION:Sulfur halo and low magnetic susceptibility halo opposite to said sulfur halo exist in the acidic lava in the lower position with the mineral deposits of black ore as a center. The acidic lava distributing widely in the lower level of the mineral deposits is therefore sampled in wide area searching of the mineral deposits for black ore, and the sulfur halo and further magnetic susceptibility halo thereof are investigated, whereby the mineral deposits to be searched are efficiently searched extremely quickly and easily and the efficiency in searching is remarkably improved. |
