PURPOSE:To equalize the density of printing extending over the whole range of arrangement of heating elements by setting the resistance value of a lead section connected to the heating elements so that the resistance values of both end sections are reduced and that of a central section is increased. CONSTITUTION:Separate electrode 8 in a lead section 6 consists of a connecting section 11 to a heating element 5 and an introducing section 12. All connecting sections 11 have the same width because the size of the heating elements 5 is all the same. However, the width of the introducing sections 12 is most widened at both end sections and narrowed toward a central section. The calorific values of the heating elements 5 at the central section are lower than those of the heating elements 5 at both end sections because several calorific value of the heating elements 5 is proportional to effective applied power. Accordingly, a striped pattern, distribution thereof is not equalized, is not generated, and a black solid or broken character is not generated. |
