PURPOSE:To obtain a photoprocessing characteristic which is stable for a long period of time by exposing imagewise a silver halide color photosensitive material then processing the material with an arom. primary amine color developing agent, etc. in the presence of the compd. expressed by the specific general formula. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photosensitive material is imagewise exposed and is then processed by an arom. primary amine color developing agent and a color developing soln. contg. an arom. polyhydroxy compd. having no reducibility in the presence of the compd. expressed by the formula I (R1, R2, R3 and R4 denote respectively hydrogen atoms, alkyl groups or aryl groups, R5 denotes an aryl group, R6 denotes a hydrogen atom or acetyl group, respectively). If the compd. expressed by the formula I is incorporated into the color developing soln., the preferable amt. of said compd. to be added ranges 0.001- 100g for each 1l of the developing soln. |
