摘要 PURPOSE:To raise the dimming accuracy of flash light emission by the small number of signal lines by providing a means for outputting serially plural information signals by transferring a timing clock signal generated by a camera side to a flash device side, and also outputting preferentially a light emission stop signal of a camera side. CONSTITUTION:A timing control signal B generated by a camera body CA side inputted from a terminal Tb to a stroboscope control part F2 of a stroboscope body, and a light emitting part F1 is controlled. In response to the signal B, a shift register SR converts plural information A to a serial signal and transfers it to the body CA side. A mode changeover switch SW1 is turned on when executing a manual photographing, and when executing a dimming photographing by operating preferentially a stroboscope dimming circuit SC of a stroboscope body side, and turned off when stopping the light emission of the light emitting part F1 by generating preferentially a light emission stopping signal transferred through the terminal Tb from the body CA side. In such a way, many information signals can be sent and received between the body CA and the stroboscope body by the small number of signal lines, and also the dimming accuracy of flash light emission can be raised.
