PURPOSE:To remove stably impurities with high efficiency by partitioning the tapping spout of a blast furnace by plural skimmers to form reaction areas, performing respectively de-Si and de-P in the respective reaction areas and discharging the formed slags. CONSTITUTION:The molten iron 5 subjected to a low Si operation in a blast furnace 11 is supplied to a tapping spout 1. Reaction areas 4a, 4b are formed by skimmers 3a, 3b, 3c on the down stream of the position where the tapping spout 11 and a slag spout 2 are connected. A prescribed space is provided between said skimmers and the base 1a of the spout. Lances 6a, 6b spaced adequately from the molten iron surface are provided above the areas 4a, 4b to blow respectively a powder flux for de-Si and a powder flux for de-P at a high speed to the molten iron 5 down to the prescribed depth thereof. The slag 7' from the furnace 11 is discharged by the spout 2 and the slags 7a, 7b formed in the areas 4a, 4b are discharged respectively via spouts 9a, 9b. |
