PURPOSE:To aim at making small and lightweight a cargo transfer device for introducing containers, at stabilizing conveying force and as well at making the transfer of cargo safe, by providing such an arrangement that a drive wheel is pressed to roll on the inside of a part of a looped strech member which opposes a cargo transfer surface and to which tension and braking force are exerted. CONSTITUTION:When one end of a container B comes above a notched hole 4, a motor 33 rotates in the direction (d) to drive and rotate a drive wheel 23. At this time the drive wheel 23 moves in the direction (e) if a timing belt 9 is braked by means of members 12, 13, and a timing belt 9 is lifted up to be pressed against the bottom surface of the container B. With this arrangement the rolling of the drive wheel 23 is restrained, and the torque of the motor 33 convercomes the braking force so that the timing belt 9 creates endless drive to transfer the container B in the direction (f). After the container B being passed the drive wheel 23 is again lifted to its topmost position where the motor 33 is reversed to return. With this arrangement, the transfer device may be made small, lightweight and safe, and as well variation in the amount of feed may be prevented. |
