PURPOSE:To accurately detect the fatigue rupture of a FRP member beforehand, by mounting a long carbon fiber, inspected in the presence or absence of disconnection by current supply inspection, to the surface of a preliminarily molded FRP member in an electrically independent and closely contacted state. CONSTITUTION:A carbon cloth sheet 6 is adhered to the surface of a preliminarily molded lower arm L and long carbon fibers 4 are mounted to the peripheral edge part 1, which receives highest load and is subjected to fatigue rupture most fastly, of said lower arm L in lateral and longitudinal directions without generating position sag. In this state, a fatigue detection apparatus A consisting of an auxiliary resistor 9, a power source 10 and a resistance gauge 11 is connected to terminals to make it possible to accurately and certainly detect whether the peripheral edge part 1 of the lower arm reaches fatigue limit and the lower arm L can be replaced with a new one without missing a rated replacing timing. |
