PURPOSE:To obtain a polyurethane having improved curing properties and water resistance, by reacting a polyol containing a specific OH terminal urethane prepolymer as at least part of the polyol with an organic polyisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A OH terminal urethane prepolymer of (A) an organic polyiso cyanate (e.g., toluene diisocyanate, etc.), (B) a polyether polyol having 20-120 hydroxyl number (e.g., compound obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to a compound containing two active hydrogen atoms, etc.), and (C) a primary OH- containing low-molecular diol (e.g., diethylene glycol, etc.) is used as at least part of polyol, and reacted with an organic polyisocyanate optionally in the presence of a blowing agent (e.g., water and/or flon), to give the desired polyurethane. USE:Panels for instruments, steering wheel of automobiles, various bumpers, etc.
