Arranged on a torsionally elastic coupling with angular mobility, which consists of a universal joint and an inner ring which is connected to one half of the universal joint and between which and a torque-transmitting outer ring connectable to the input or output is arranged an intermediate ring of highly flexible material (rubber or plastic) bonded to the inner ring and the outer ring, an outer sleeve (10) is provided which accommodates the highly flexible intermediate ring (6) with the inner ring (5) and the outer ring (7) (divided into several sectors) with radial prestressing of the intermediate ring (6) and in a manner secured against rotation, for which purpose the bore (9) of the outer sleeve (10) has a smaller diameter than the outer ring (7) before its installation with radial prestressing of the flexible intermediate ring (6). The sectors of the outer ring (7) are expediently formed by bent sheet-metal strips which are matched to the diameter of the sleeve bore (9) and the ends of which are bent up to form claws (11) which engage in grooves or slots (12) in the outer sleeve (10) and form the means for securing the intermediate ring (7) against rotation in the outer sleeve (10). <IMAGE>
