PURPOSE:To reduce the operating load of a driver by delivering an alarm when an erroneous input of data occurs with a computer set on a vehicle and at the same time releasing automatically an input inhibitor state after a fixed period of time. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic control part 5 judges the presence or absence of an erroneous input and displays ''Error'' when an erroneous input is judged. At the same time, an input is inhibited from an input part 4. Furthermore an alarm signal is delivered to produce an alarm tone from an alarm part 9 via a driver 8. Then it is judged whether a clear key of the part 4 is pushed or not. The input inhibition state is released when the clear key is pushed. In case the clear key is not pushed, it is judged whether or not a fixed period of time has passed after the alarm signal is delivered to the part 9. If a fixed period has passed, a release signal is delivered for the input inhibition state. |
