发明名称 CUTTING METHOD IN NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED LATHE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a tool from breakage and a work from damage, by causing the tool to perform an escape motion after it performs cutting of the work to its root so that the tool may be moved by a preset distance to the resultant direction formed by components in both directions of X- and Z-axis. CONSTITUTION:A lathe, when it performs cutting of a work, causes a tool placed in an initial position A to machine the work in a depth of cut by a predetermined distance at a certain angle and reach a point B, then performing rough cutting from the point B to a point C along a Z-axis. Next the lathe, after it performs rough cutting from the point C to a point D along an X-axis, quickly feeds the tool from the point D to a point E along the Z-axis and moves the tool from the point E to the point B along the X-axis. Subsequently, the lathe, further cutting the work at the above described angle by the tool moving from the point B and arriving at a point F, performs rough cutting from the point F to a point G parallelly to the Z-axis. Thereafter, the lathe similarly transfers the tool to the point C so as to feed it to a point J by moving the tool to be fed by a preset distance in the resultant direction formed by components in both directions of the X- and Z-axis.
