Novel DNA and use thereof.

摘要

A novel DNA containing a promoter which is preferably a neutral protease promoter, and a signal peptide-encoding region of the neutral protease gene. The DNA may further contain a neutral protease-encoding region of the neutral protease gene so far as a portion of its nucleotides containing the 3 min end nucleltide is missing. A transformant of a strain of the genus Bacillus transformed with the DNA which further contains a desired peptide-encoding gene other than that of a neutral protease, can produce the peptide extracellularly.
