PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent a back fire or an explosion noise even when the upper surface of the burner is heated during the use by holding a gap through which an inflammable gas can pass on the inner surface of the gas injection wall between the inner surface of a gas injection wall and a gas blow-off port and disposing a gas passing wall groove so as to cover the gas injection port. CONSTITUTION:A gas passing groove 30 is formed between the inner surface of a gas injection wall 3 and a gas blow-off port 16a so that the groove 30 covers both side walls 2 from the inner surface of the gas injection wall 3, and holds a gap through which the inflammable gas can pass. The gas passing groove wall 9 is formed by heat resisting material such as a stainless steel sheet or an iron sheet having a thickness of about 0.5mm. with a gap between the injection wall 3 and both side surfaces 2 of about 1mm. to 7mm.. The gas passing groove 30 passing through the inner surface of both side walls 2 and the gas injection wall 3 is formed by use of a press whereby it is possible to form an arbitrary gap if the gas passing groove 30 is made narrow and deep.
