A digital ph meter performing a zero setting without a span compensation by using a reference voltage(VREF) as a voltage source consists of a A/D converter having a high input-impedance, a reference voltage source compensation a sensitivity of glass electrodes, and a voltage generating circuit for zero setting of the digital display and a span compensation of the glass tubes.
