A motor controller attached to a telephone operates using a predetermined number of ring tones from a dialed number, to control in-house objects from a long distance. A subscriber's line is transferred to the remote controller. On receiving the predetermined number codes, the corresponding in-house objects are operated by the controller. When the objects are properly controlled, the machine provides a signal to confirm the action for the caller.
