Device for locking inspection doors and hatches. The invention relates to a device allowing the locking and unlocking of access doors and hatches. It is constituted by an omega-shaped box cage 1 in which are assembled a catch 2 which holds the door flat in its frame during locking, a push-button trigger 3, a return spring 4, two cross piece sleeves 6 and two rivet spindles. When the user applies a pressure on the apparent end of the catch, the latter articulates about its axis and lodges the stop notch in that of the push-button trigger; the door is thus held flat in the closed position. A pressure on the apparent part of the push-button trigger 3 releases the stop notch, frees the catch 2 which pivots by the action of the spring 4. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for locking access doors and hatches of aircraft, spacecraft and high- speed trains. <IMAGE>
