PURPOSE:To arrange a pellet so as to uniformly wear its grinding surface, by gluing the pellets in number obtained from a specific expression onto the i-th concentric circle from the center of a circular surface plate in which the pellets are glued on the concentric circles. CONSTITUTION:A surface plate (A) arranges in rows 1-6, divided by each belt- shaped part provided by drawing concentric circles to be ruled at an almost equal space, pellets (B) calculated by expressions I , II, III, IV to be assigned in an almost equal distance. Here in the expression, the alphabet hir0, showing wearing height of the pellet arranged in the i-th row when the surface plate is equally divided in a concentric circular shape, is function of row (i) being an integer where (i)>=1, while the alphabet Lir0, showing a contact distance between the pellet arranged in the same position and a work, is shown by the function of the row (i). Further the alphabet Wir0, showing a grinding load received by the pellet arranged in the same position, is shown by the function of the row (i), and the alphabet Lir0 is determined by a shape of the work, assignment to a carrier and the row (i). In such a way, the surface plate can be high accurately maintained by eliminating uneven wearing. |
