摘要 PURPOSE:To correctly obtain the center position of a workpiece and improve efficiency of work and its accuracy, by mounting a grinding wheel-correcting fixture to a holder device of the spherical workpiece and grinding a wheel in a linear surface so as to calculate height of the center of a groove bottom on the basis of measured values of a ground surface. CONSTITUTION:In the measuring method, if fluid to a cylinder is drained to a discharge side by turning a mounting surface 11a and mounting a grinding wheel-correcting fixture A facing a diamond tool T toward a grinding wheel 1, the fixture A, to a side of which swivelling levers 12, 21 are both turned because an actuator shaft 7 is extruded causing push rods 10a, 10b to press-in the swivelling levers 21, 12 each in an equal distance, is grasped by moving a claw 14 in an equal distance and automatically aligning an inner ring W. Next, the tool T performs dressing of the periphery of the wheel 1 to a linear surface parallel to a wheel axis by rotating the wheel 1, advancing a wheel spindle stock and moving a table, and a center measuring fixture B, being mounted to the mounting surface 11a by feeding fluid so as to retreat the shaft 7 and open the claw 14 and 22, 23, is removed after externally grinding a protrusive part Bc placing it at a right angle with the wheel axis, then measuring a distance M and a diameter D by a measuring device so as to obtain a distance N by calculation.
