PURPOSE:To prevent a base from being wrinkled and make uniform an ink layer, by a method wherein after providing an intermediate adhesive layer, a base and the adhesive layer are heat-treated under pressure, in an ink sheet comprising an intermediate adhesive layer between a base and an ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A solution of a polyester resin in toluene is applied to the base 1 consisting of a condenser paper having a thickness of 8mum, in a thickness of 3mum by a bar coater, and is naturally dried by leaving it to stand in air to provide the intermediate adhesive layer 2. An ink support 4 thus provided with the intermediate adhesive layer 2 on the base 1 is passed between a heating roller 12 coated with PTFE and a press roller 13. The pressure is about 5kg/cm<2>, and the heating temperature is about 100 deg.C. A heat-fusible ink layer 3 comprising a low melting point agent, a black dye and a filler in a weight ratio of about 2:1:1 is provided on the support 4. |
