PURPOSE:To contrive improvement in insulating property of a cast coil by a method wherein an insulating spacer, having the creeping distance larger than the shortest distance between a conductor and a molding mold or between side faces of the conductor is used and the adhesive property between the spacer and the casting resin is improved. CONSTITUTION:Insulating spacers 11 and 12 are used between a conductor 1 and a molding mold 4 or between conductors 1, and in order to increase the creeping distance of the spacers, the junction face of the spacer and casting resin is formed giving an inclination to the molding mold 4. Also, the spacers 11 and 12 are formed using the resin having same composition as the casting resin 3, and the junction face of the spacers and the casting resin is roughened so as to have them joined together excellently. According to this constitution, the deterioration of creeping field strength and the adhesive property between the spacer and the casting resin can be improved, and a highly reliable cast coil can be obtained even under the condition wherein thermal strength is present. |
