PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head having a high magnetic characteristic and excellent mechanical reliability with a simple constitution by attaching magnetic metallic materials having high magnetic flux density to the respective one sides of C and I cores consisting of Mn-Zn and embedding a core chip provided with a magnetic gap into ceramics. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic metallic materials (''Permalloy '', etc.) 12 having high magnetic flux density are attached to respective one sides of C and I cores 10, 11 consisting of Mn-Zn ferrite and a magnetic gap 13 is provided. Such core is embedded into ceramics having high mechanical reliability and is fixed by molding, by which the magnetic head having a high magnetic characteristic and excellent mechanical reliability is obtd. with the simple constitution. |
