A stacker vehicle, for example a fork-lift truck (1), has a telescopic lifting mast (2) which carries on its lifting slide (3) a drilling device (5) for an earth auger (6). Double-acting lifting cylinders (9) actuated by pressure medium perform the lifting movement of the vertically movable lifting frame (10) on the telescopic lifting mast (2). The lifting slide (3) is guided on the lifting frame (10) in a vertically movable manner. By means of lowering chains (17), which are fastened with one of their ends to the lifting slide (3) and are attached in a fixed position at their other end and are each guided via a deflection chain sheave (18) at the bottom end of the lifting frame (10), a force directed downwards is exerted on the lifting slide (3) and thus on the drilling device (5) during the lowering movement. <IMAGE>
