PURPOSE:To simply convert the sea water into pure water through the navigation of a ship by heating the sea water introduced from a bow part by the waste gas of a main engine and generating steam by a multistage flash which is put into vacuum by a negative-pressure generator in the stern part. CONSTITUTION:The sea water supplied from a bow-part taking-in port 7b is introduced into a funnel 6 for a main engine 4 and heated by waste gas. A reduced-pressure generator 17 for generating the suction force through the navigation of a ship is installed onto a stern part, and a water producing apparatus 3 consisting of multistage flashes is put into vacuum. Steam is generated by allowing the heated sea-water to pass through the multistage flashes of the water producing apparatus 3, and pure water is obtained by cooling said steam. Therefore, the sea water can be simply converted into pure water through the navigation of the ship.
