PURPOSE:To increase transfer speed and to provide a substantial working space near a base plate by providing a moving frame having a pair of gripping means to a supporting frame which moves relatively in the vertical direction of a lifting base. CONSTITUTION:A lifting base 10 which ascends upon completion of pressing begins to rise together with a supporting frame 18 by a stopper 27. Gripping means 20, 21 lift respectively the works W on a lower die 9 and a loading base 6 via a rack 45 and pinions 43, 44. A moving frame 19 is traveled to the left end by a hydraulic cylinder 22 for traveling. The means 20, 21 convey the works to the position above an ejecting base 7 and the die 9 then the base 10 descends to release the gripping of the works on the base 7 and the die 9. The frame 19 returns to the right end and the succeeding pressing of the works W is accomplished. The unworked works W are supplied successively onto the die 9 and the worked works W are ejected onto the base 7 and a chute 15. The transfer speed is increased by the above-mentioned method.
