The final inspection and testing and quality assurance of pressure-measuring instruments such as pressure sensors and pressure transducers require devices that are suitable for use in automatic test stands and are intended for rapid and high-precision setting of differential pressures ( DELTA p), have a wide setting range, and also ensure high setting accuracies in the region of low differential pressures. For this purpose, two pressure dividers (DT1, DT2) are connected to one another on the feed side and blow-off side to form a pneumatic bridge circuit (BS), in the diagonal branch (BD) of which the specimen (P), which can be connected in parallel with a reference pressure-measuring instrument (RD), is subjected to the differential pressure ( DELTA p), which can be adjusted as the difference of the cascade pressures (px, pr) of the two pressure dividers (DT1, DT2). In this case, the cascade pressure (px, pr) of at least one pressure divider (DT1, DT2) must be variable. The setting of the differential pressure ( DELTA p) is preferably undertaken via adjustable restrictors (NV1, NV2, NV3, NV4) of the two pressure dividers (DT1, DT2). <IMAGE>
