PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new medicine for raising a plant, useful for the control of symbiosis, and a plant growth promoter having higher effects and containing a cultured product of microorganisms belonging to the genus Pseudomonas as a component. SOLUTION: This plant growth promoter or adjuvant for the plant growth promoter contains polysaccharides obtained from the cultured product of microorganisms belonging to the genus Klebsiella. The plant growth promoter comprises the polysaccharides obtained from the cultured product of the microorganisms belonging to the genus Klebsiella, and the cultured product of microorganisms belonging to the genus Pseudomonas. The microorganism belonging to the genus Klebsiella is exemplified by the microorganisms belonging to Klebsiella pneumoniae or Klebsiella oxytoca. The microorganism belonging to the genus Pseudomonas is exemplified by the microorganisms belonging to Pseudomonas fluorescens.
