PURPOSE:To provide a simple constitution to eliminate the adverse effect on electronic parts by charged ink by installing a grounding electrode on an upstream part distant properly from an electric charging apparatus and further on a downstream part from the ink suction path of a pressure pump which sucks and transfers ink. CONSTITUTION:An electric charge of ink is allowed to escape through grounding wire 25 installed on air vent member 20 as a grounding electrode, even though ink in an ink tube 3 or a pressure pump 2 were electrically charged by an electric charging apparatus 5. A pressure sensor 19 provided in a pump chamber 8 of the pressure pump 2 which particularly needs not to be insulated, and can be built into a compact and highly responsive pressure sensor containing a semiconductor directly in the pump chamber 8. Because of high impedance between the grounding electrode 25 and the electric charging apparatus 5 coupled with the provision of a thin ink tube 3, ink particles 1 injected from a jet nozzle 4 for image recording are electrically charged satisfactorily. |
