PURPOSE:To attain wide angle deflection in a flow direction control device, by arranging auxiliary deflecting blades among a plurality of flexible deflecting blades so that contact of air flow with the deflection blades may be made effective. CONSTITUTION:Flexible deflecting blades 16a through 16e are rotatbly held by a shaft piercing through restraining plate, and auxiliary deflecting blades 21a through 21f are arranged thereamong so that they are inclined in the same direction at the same time. The deflection effect in accordance with the inclination of the auxiliary deflecting blades allows all streams to be directed in the same direction. As a result, the outlet flow of the flow direction control device is directed in the direction as shown by D3 so that the deflected angle theta2 which is equal to the inclination angle theta2 of the deflecting blade 16c may be obtained. With this arrangement, the deflecting angle of air flow may be obtained corresponding to the angle to the deflecting blades.
