PURPOSE:To prevent the transfer of ink to a drive part without applying special processing to a needle, by imparting a liquid repelling property to the needle except the leading end part thereof for holding ink. CONSTITUTION:A printing head 18 consists of a drive part 2 and a guide part 3 and an ink supply surface 5 is formed to the guide part 3. A liquid repelling film 20 is formed to the outer peripheral surface of a needle 19 corresponding to the space between the drive part 2 and the ink supply part 5. Because there is a gap between the dot hole 8 formed to a leading end guide 6 and the needle 19, ink 4 is turned around to the leading end of the needle 19. The ink 4 is also flowed out from the gap between the dot hole 8 formed to an intermediate guide 7 and the needle 19 and is apt to advance toward the drive part 2 but, because the liquid repelling film 20 is formed to the needle 19, the ink 4 is repelled from said liquid repelling film 20 and prevented from reaching the drive part 2. |
