PURPOSE:To require no rail or no chain and automate the probe scanning of the flaw detection test of a conduit welded section by pressing wheels to the conduit with the scissor force of arms constituting a scissor mechanism and holding the main body on the outer periphery of the conduit. CONSTITUTION:An arm 1 has one wheel 4 and an arm 3 has two wheels 4, 4 on the pinching side. The rotary axes of the wheels are in the same direction as an axis 3, i.e., intersect the moving faces of the arms 1, 3 at a right angle. Forces pressing a conduit 7 are applied to three wheels 4, 4, 4 by the energizing force of a spring 6 at positions with nearly the same distance in the circumferential direction of the outer periphery, and a scissor mechanism made with the arms 1, 2 is held on the outer periphery. When a rotating force is applied to at least one of the three wheels by a drive device 9, the main body travels on the outer periphery of the conduit. |
