PURPOSE:To implement automation and unattended operation, by providing a tester, which converts the difference in external forces applied on right and left side tables into the side-slip quantity, in a conveyer line, and providing an engaging means, which pushes forward the rear wheels of a vehicle, on a front-stage conveyor. CONSTITUTION:Between a conveyor 10 of a head-lamp testing conveyer line 4 and a carrying conveyer line 5, a side-slip tester 1, whose length is L that is shorter than a wheel base D of a vehicle C is provided. The tester 1 is constituted by mounting side tables 11, which are separately provided on the right and left sides, on rails 12 so that the tables can be freely moved into the right and left directions and linking both tables 11 by a linking mechanism (not shown). When wheels 14 run on the tables 11, the difference in external forces applied on the tables is made to be the sum of the right and left movements of the tables 11, and the side-slip quantity is measured. An engaging means 19, which is engaged with rear wheels 18 and pushes forward the vehicle C, is provided on the conveyer 10. |
