PURPOSE:To prevent a failure of an engine body by disengaging a solenoic clutch when any trouble of the engine is detected, so as to interrupt supercharging function. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner 4, an air chrometer 5, a throttle valve 6, a supercharger 7, a serge tank 8 and a fuel injection valve 9 are arranged in order in an intake pipe 2. The supercharger 7 is a root pump and is provided with a solenoid clutch 11, which is connected to a crank pulley 13 with a belt 12. There are provided an engine speed sensor, the KCS sensor of a knock control system, a catalyst temperature sensor, a sensor for oxygen concentration inside exhaust gas, a hydraulic sensor, a cooling water temperature sensor, a car speed sensor and so forth. When the detected values of those sensors exceed respective predetermined values, a trouble signal is provided to disengage the solenoid clutch 11. |
