PURPOSE:To reduce a developing roller and a developing device in size by supporting a magnet roller eccentrically with a nonmagnetic sleeve and extending a magnetic member into the space between the nonmagnetic sleeve and magnet roller. CONSTITUTION:The developing roller supports the magnet roller 10 eccentrically with the nonmagnetic sleeve 22 and the magnetic member 12 is arranged in the space formed owing to the eccentric arrangement. Consequently, the large space is secured only by increasing the diameter of the nonmagnetic sleeve 21 slightly and the magnetic member 12 for obtaining a necessary magnetic field is arranged at a specific position without increasing the size of the developing device, thereby reducing the developing roller and developing device. |
