<p>The gas distributor for improving the growth and yield of plants consists of an inlet pipe and outlets at the funnel-shaped end of the housing. A methane containing gas is pumped through the pipes for set periods of time. The gas is conveyed through several parallel perforated pipes. The pipes have smaller holes on the inlet side, with wider spacings, and larger holes with smaller spacings on the outlet side. The gas is applied within a period of eight to fourteen hours, the periods between gas application being used for watering, applying herbicide or drying.</p> |
