PURPOSE:To make it easy to exchange batteries by letting a battery container come out of an electronic equipment body when the electromotive force of a back-up battery goes down below a certain level and by making it impossible to return the battery container to its right place before a battery having the electromotive force higher than a certain level is put in. CONSTITUTION:An electronic equipment body 1 has a built-in battery container 2 which contains a back-up battery 6. An electromotive force detector 5 is used to detect whether or not the electromotive force of the battery 6 is higher than a certain level, and, when it is detected to be lower than a certain level, a relay 11 is driven to energize a solenoid 3 so that the battery container 2 may be pushed out of the electronic equipment body 1, and the output of the detector 5 is maintained so as to keep the state of the solenoid 3 of being energized so that the battery container 2 can not be returned to its right place in the electronic equipment body 1 before the battery 6 having the electromotive force higher than a certain level is put in. In this way, it can be made easy to exchange batteries and the usability can be improved. |
