Chip pan which can be closed by a lid 5 and is equipped with a vapour condensation and extraction device built into the chip pan, which device is equipped with a removable reservoir 6, containing cooling water and having a fill-up/outlet orifice 19, and with a condensing channel 7, through which the vapour flows and which is cooled by the cooling water. It is thus possible to avoid vapours containing unwelcome foul-smelling substances escaping to the ambient air. <IMAGE>
