PURPOSE:To allow the system to request a rough fare to a subscriber by allowing the system to start measuring of talking time automatically from a point of time when the operator completes the connecting operation of a call so as to detect mistake of the charging start operation of the operator in a switch box system having a function starting automatically the measurement of charging time. CONSTITUTION:When the time of depression of an ST key is delayed by the operator, that is, when a time t2 is delayed more than a time t1, a value (t2-t1) exceeds a fixed value (k) and it is printed out. If the operator does not depress the ST key at all, whether or not the state of an ST address remains ''0'' is checked at the same time of storing t3 to an address T2 of a main memory MM and when the state remains ''0'', the t3 is given to a C1 address of the MM. Thus, if the operator does not depress the ST key at all, the difference is (t2-t1= (t3-t1) and when this surpasses the fixed value (k), it is printed out. The print- out information (t3-t1) and (t3-t2) are compared as required in this way and a rough fare is requested to the subscriber by deciding a rough charging time to e.g., (t3-t1)+(t3-t2)/2. |
