PURPOSE:To carry out finish painting having interference colors by incorporating titanized mica pigments having plural standard colors into an overcoat paint in specified proportion in accordance with the desired tone of color. CONSTITUTION:A colored undercoated film 2 is formed on the surface of material 1 to be coated, and a coated film is formed on the coated film 2 by using a paint 3 wherein titanized mica pigments having >=2 kinds of standard colors are incorporated in specified proportion in accordance with the desired tone of color. The finish having novel nacreous interference colors can be obtained in this way.
