<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a dust collector by sufficing the dust collecting capacity with the area of a bag filter main body alone by housing an electrostatic charger in a bag filter. CONSTITUTION:Dust-contg. gas is introduced into a bag filter 2 from a dust- contg. gas introducing pipe 9 after passing through a dispersing plate 8 and dispersing uniformly. Then, the gas is passed between a simple earthing electrode 4 and a discharging electrode 5 to generate ions by the corona discharge by an electrostatic charger; thus, the dust particles are charged. The gas containing the charged dust particles rises upward through the inside of the bag filter 2, filtered by the bag filter 2 to form clean gas, and is discharged from a discharging pipe 11. The charged dust particles remain on the mesh of the bag filter 2, attracted by the static electric force to the fibers of the bag filter 2 and are deposited on the inside surface of the bag filter 2.</p> |
