<p>The present invention relates to the drive device of a weft gripper-head carrier on a loom, in which the gearhead carrier moves to and fro with the slay and a driving wheel (17) rotating alternately in both directions thereby moves the gripper-head carrier into and out of the shed, the gear being driven by a rotating drive shaft (5). As a result of the to-and-fro movement of the gear together with the slay, the distance between the drive shaft (5) and the bearing axle (10) of the gear and also their mutual position vary periodically, this being compensated by means of a pivot pin (9) which can rotate, pivot and shift in a cylindrical eye by means of a ball (21) located at its end. <IMAGE></p> |
