PURPOSE:To aim at effectively using energy, by providing two turbines the front one of which is coupled to both compressor and a load, and the rear one of which is coupled to only the compressor. CONSTITUTION:There are provided two of front and rear turbines 2, 3. One of the output shaft 6 of the front turbine 2 is coupled to a compressor 1 via. a speed change unit 4, and the other one of the output shafts 6 is coupled to a load. Further, the output shaft of the rear turbine 3 is coupled to the compressor 1 alone. When the load increases, the rotational speed lowers so that the efficiency of the front turbine 2 lowers. However, lost energy by the front turbine 2 is recovered by the rear turbine, and as well the rotational speed of the compressor 1 is increased upto a steady-state rotational speed by means of the drive force of the output shaft 6. With this arrangement, energy may be effectively used. |
