PURPOSE:To restrict a self-discharge by using zinc containing tin for a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:Predetermined amount of stannous chloride are added to and resolved into predetermined amount of pure water. Predetermined amount of Zinc powder is added into the solution. The obtained solution is fully agitated, and then is filtered, washed, and dryed to obtain zinc powder containing 1% tin. According to the above method, the amount of generated hydrogen gas can be decreased, and self-discharge is fully restricted. |
